I used to ALWAYS wear a watch. I have a few watches floating around here somewhere. My favorite to wear is a nice Yankees watch.
I was checking out these Oakley watches that I really liked. I so rarely wear the Yankees one though, I doubt I’d wear this one either.
I’m supposed to be in bed right now. Sleeping. Yes, that’s where I’m supposed to be! I’ve been awake since 4am, I drove for 8 hours and I have to get up at the crack of dawn for payroll Monday. I really should be sleeping.
You can see how well that is working out for me. I’d blame it on coffee intake, however, I’ve not had any more than I normally do on any given day. I’d blame it on Dr. Pepper intake, but I’ve only had one of those.
I guess I’ll just not blame it on anything.

After my Thanksgiving weekend in Georgia, I think I need some weight loss pills! Holy cow! I ate myself silly on Thursday, that’s for sure! And then my brother cooked us dinner on Friday and OH MY GOSH was that good!
I’ve been home for a few hours, doing laundry and getting settled. I’ve gotten the coffee ready to brew at 3am and my alarms are set to start going off at 3am.
I’m not watching the last episode of Criminal Minds that I have on my DVR. I have Lipstick Jungle and Without A Trace to watch as well.
Since I’m going to be moving soon, I started going through my closet and my drawers earlier. I need to finish that up. I’ll probably finish that up tomorrow after work or maybe Tuesday, since tomorrow is payroll Monday.
Until next time…

I have to say, some days I really miss the weather in Vegas. It’s usually steady at 70 degrees or so this time of year.
I found a website for deals on a Vegas hotel if anyone needs them. I won’t ever need a hotel when I visit there, but it’s always good to have the information handy for friends going there!
I drove home from Georgia in 40 degree weather and lots of rain. A few times, it was a sleet like rain. I was afraid I’d get stuck in snow or something, as weatherunderground said it was going to snow. YAY for weather people being wrong!
I’m currently doing laundry and watching the Giants football game. I also made a pot of coffee cause I found my fave coffee while in Georgia. I’ve yet to find Don Francisco here and so I cleaned off the shelf in the grocery store - it was only five cans, but it was all they had!

Since I’m going to be moving soon, I’ve been looking at truck rental prices online.
I found out before going to Georgia for Thanksgiving, that there is a one bedroom coming available on the other end of the apartment complex. It’s not close enough to walk, but seems far enough away to have to rent a truck and then bribe all my friends to help me move.
I’ll be getting the exact move in date either tomorrow or sometime this week. I’ll stop at the office tomorrow after work and see if there is a definite date yet. Mom sent me home with some boxes and I’ll be bringing some home from work and I’ll probably have to go buy some too.
I had a great weekend with the family. I’m so blessed to get along with my mom, brother, SIL and nephews. I absolutely adore my SIL. I got to meet most of her family on Thursday, as T-day dinner was at her mom’s house. It was awesome!
I miss them already.

I hate having to go to an auto parts store for anything. I’m vehicle stupid and it makes me sick to my stomach having to go into one of those places.
I need windshield wiper fluid, fuses and a bulb for the rear left turn signal on my car. I don’t want to pay the dealership hundreds of dollars for things I should be able to do myself.
Maybe I’ll just go BUY the stuff and then beg one of the hot firefighters I work with to fix the stuff for me? Hmmmm. I may have to look into doing that!
I’m exhausted! But I’m home, watching football and doing laundry. Need to use up this water in the w/d here cause my new apartment does not have them!

So last week at work, I had some visitors in my office and we were discussing my trip to Georgia for Thanksgiving.
We were talking about how long of a drive it was and then one of them said “It’s all downhill on the map” Huh. Never thought of it that way, but in a way - he’s right. It’s straight south on 65 until I hit the 20 there in Birmingham, AL.
As ya’ll know, I love digital cameras. Of any kind, shape, color or brand. Of course, my fave is my baby Canon Rebel xTi SLR. There is so much I can do with that thing, it’s unreal! When we get our first substantial snowfall of the season, I will snap some photos, for sure!

I had a few things on my wish list that have already happened (ie: getting a one bedroom apartment). Even though the one bedroom is still here in this complex (that I wanted to get out of), it will be saving me $100 a month and the lease is a year long. It will give me that year to start paying back my debt and fixing my credit. It may take an extra year of staying here after that, however, I’m going to just stick it out until I start improving my credit rating.
Once that is improved, I’ll look at other complexes again. The five complexes I applied at just aren’t going to happen while I’ve got this crappy shit hanging over me.
There are a few places I’ve always wanted to visit in the United States and one of those places is the Outer Banks. Something about that place just draws my interest!

I had a pretty good day today! I got up early and met Miss Lacy and GeekyTaiTai for breakfast at 9am. Geeky was an hour late *cough* and so we got to meet her at 10am! However, I drank tons of coffee, was bouncing off the walls and then finally got to meet her!
We had a great time at breakfast. After that, Geeky hit the road for somewhere in Illinois and Miss Laci and I drove around a bit, went shopping at Payless and then off to the movie!
On our way to the movie, we were driving down the road where Boss Lady and Boss Man live (they are the couple I was working part time for and also KP’s aunt and uncle). In front of their condo were two ambulances and a fire engine. OH NO! As one of the ambulances pulled out and started coming towards us, I looked in the front seat and there was Boss Lady. ACK!
I immediately called KP and then I called Boss Lady. I got voicemails on both. We continued on to the movie theater.
I didn’t know what to expect with the movie, I had read good and bad reviews. I wanted to form my own opinion without letting someone else’s opinion color mine.
I can’t say it was the best movie I’ve ever seen, but I can’t say it was the worst either. There were a lot of key points left out of the dialogue and the character development.
However, if I had never read the books, I’m sure I would have loved it more. At this point, I’m going to give it a sidways thumb. Not a thumbs up or thumbs down, just meh.
I was looking at line at online trading sites. They’ve become quite the rage with some gamblers who are still practicing their disease. I never saw the pull for trading like that. I’m stock market stupid. Seriously.

As my financial future starts looking a little brighter, I realize the psychic was right when he did my tarot reading. My financial situation has slowly started to improve within a month of that reading and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
However, I think it’s more of a God thing really. I’m sure, had I NOT visited the psychic, all of this would have started happening anyway because it’s the journey God has me on.
My fears of financial failure were realized this past year and I’ve gotten to a point of acceptance. I cannot change what has happened and what has not happened in the course of this year since I’ve lived here in the Ville. All I can do is learn from my mistakes, learn from the crap that is thrown at me and move forward. One foot in front of the other.
I’ve been reading some best diet pill reviews and I just don’t think any of them are the best.
On a completely different note, since this post is already just all over the place….
There is a small grassy area at work that has some clovers in it. I’m always on the look out for the four leaf variety. For months, I’ve been looking for it and never found it. Until today. Yes, my friends, I found this today while standing there, complaining about something to my Co-Worker. I was in awe!

Post title by Staind - It’s Been Awhile
I’ve been looking at Disney vacations online. I love the world of Disney. The magic and majestic feelings I get from it have never wained, even as I’ve grown older.
I’m 39 years old and I love Disneyland. I’d love to visit Disney World one of these days in Florida. I just love all things Disney!
I’m in a pretty good mood this morning, even though my sinus and allergies are all goopy, just like the weather outside right now. I have the blinds open and I have to turn on all the lights to still see. How annoying is that!
I’ve started my laundry and I’m getting ready to start cleaning the bathroom and the kitchen and then I’m going to tackle the living room and dining room area. This place just gets so cluttered, so fast.
Until next time…
