Shutterbuggin’ With Sodapop

I had a dream last that I just shared about on The Soda Stand.  I’ve since been looking it up over on MSN’s free Dream Dictionary online.  Just to see if I can find a meaning to it….

I was dreaming of someone *cough* that I like and then someone from my past entered the dream and creeped me out.  I then was on a beach with the person I liked and a different person from my past walked up to us with my Josie in his arms.  She was dying.  I was then in the vet’s office.  The vet was Neil Patrick Harris (WTF?) and he took care of my girl and fixed her.   And then I was back on the beach with the person I liked and we were having sex.  It was a clumsy first attempt and it was funny as hell.  We were both laughing.  And then this person from my past walked up to us again, yeah, in the middle of us having sex and started yelling/saying something at me.   I started crying in the dream and walked away with the person I liked.

I’ve highlighted the symbols (or what *I* think are the symbols in this dream.)

They are not in any kind of order:

the beach ~ A beach is where the earth meets the water; hence, dreaming of standing on a beach looking out at the water implies intense spiritual experiences ahead.

people from my past ~ 1. The ex-lover is thinking about the dreamer intensely, and projecting telepathic messages towards her which she receives in her dreams.
2. Incompletions with this person that need to be resolved within the dreamer before he is truly free to move on to a new relationship.
3. Similarities between this past relationship and situations now in the dreamer’s life. Solutions to current difficulties may be resolved by the dreamer’s remembering how he dealt with the ex-lover.

sex with the person I like ~ If the encounter is with someone whose feelings the dreamer isn’t sure of, it could mean the same, but it could also be nothing more than a wish-fulfillment dream. Look to other symbols in the dream in order to discern its true meaning.

Ex telling me something I could not hear ~ If someone is speaking to you and yet you don’t hear what he or she is saying, then there is some sort of situation in your life that you don’t understand, and which you need to understand. Again, for the actual message, look to other symbols in the dream.

my dog Josie ~ DOMESTIC ANIMALS: Comfort, familiarity, security, gentleness.

Josie being near death ~ The need for change in some department of the dreamer’s life. As to what: Watch for other symbols in the dream.

Yeah, I don’t get it either.
