Sometimes, I can’t find my stuff in my purse. Do you other ladies experience that? I mean seriously, I carry around a purse large enough to be a suitcase and I can’t find my stuff. No matter how hard I try to organize the bag, things still get lost.

I’ve thought about treating myself to a Over the Shoulder Bag by Buxton, just so I can avoid this in the future.

It’s small enough to carry anywhere and it is expandable. It will expand up to two more inches to fit the needs of whatever you put into it. It has interior mesh zippered pockets to help you organize all your clutter…I mean stuff you carry with you.

The outside zippered pockets provide a place for a bottle of water or your to do lists and shopping lists.

The Buxton Bag has a 22 inch adjustable strap so you can put it around your shoulders and be hands free. It keeps your stuff safe and right by your side, all secure like.

Since I moved here, I’ve been trying to figure out a way to fit in to the culture and area. This is horse country. Did you know that? Well, if you didn’t, you do now. We have Churchill Downs (where the Kentucky Derby is held yearly) and there are horse farms all over the area.

Just up the street from me, there is a sign that is advertising horseback riding lessons. OOOOOH THAT would be fun. I have not been on a horse since I was really young and my BFF, Kerri, and were on one. That dang nag threw us both. I landed on top of Kerri, so I didn’t get all that hurt, but she was a hurting girl for awhile.

As I was thinking of taking these riding lessons, I realized I might need some equestrian riding apparel eventually if I get really into it. Or would I? LOL

On a side note, today is my brother’s birthday so go wish him a Happy Birthday and wish him good luck on getting his tooth pulled today!

I’m going to be packing today for my roadtrip tomorrow.  I’ve prepared 6 hours of music on six different discs to throw into my CD player in the car.  It has a lot of the newer stuff I downloaded onto my iTunes, so it should be quite different from the music selection that is currently sitting in the player.  LOL

Until next time…

I have no clue what I did today. I made a list in my head a few minutes ago, this is what it looked like:

  • Drank half a pot of coffee (I’m cutting down!)
  • Vacuumed my bedroom and the 2nd bedroom
  • Collected another fuckton of trash (I really don’t know where I get it all)
  • Talked to my sponsor on the phone for half an hour
  • Talked to another GA member here for about half an hour
  • Created a spreadsheet in Excel for the Registration stuff for the GA mini conference in June
  • Sent out a few funny emails
  • Got featured over at IZEA!!! WHEEEE exploded my traffic on The Soda Stand.
  • Watched 4 episodes of Charmed
  • Found some great leather lingerie online (I don’t know why I was looking at it, I’m like that you know)
  • Made NYC Watchdog get vaklempt (I don’t even know that means but it sounds interesting!)
  • Watched an episode of Law & Order SVU and now 2 episodes of CSI.

WOW. I think that’s where my day went! LOL

Have you ever wanted to Publish a Book ? Do you have hopes and dreams of one day becoming a published author? I think I know several people who would love for this to happen. I know of several writers who have yearned for years on how to get a book published.

Authorhouse.com can help writers learn the process of getting a book published AND they have self-publishing instructions. How cool is that? I know that when and if I’m ever ready to publish any of my writing (poetry mostly), I’m going to that website and getting it done.

How beautiful would it be to put on your resume’ that you have written a published book?

When taking the time to choose the publisher you want to work with, there are so many book publishing companies to choose from. AuthorHouse has been around since 1997 and is the leading self-publishing company in the world. They have helped more than 30,000 authors reach their publishing goals and self publish more than 40,000 books.

Check out Authorhouse when you feel it’s time to get your work noticed!

I’ve decided I really don’t like much about this apartment. But since I can’t afford to move anywhere right now, I’m going to try to stick it out until the lease is up. I seriously don’t know if I’ll make it a year in this place, but I can give it a sincere attempt, ya know? One of the many things I dislike is the faucet in the kitchen. It’s just…welll not to my liking. I was cruising the internet and thought the Hansgrohe faucet is more to my liking.

I’ve done nothing today. I really need to get off my ass, take a shower and clean this apartment. I need to vacuum, dust and get things ready for the trip day after tomorrow. I guess I should get to it.

Until next time…

You really need to check out this video on YouTube.  It’s the song One Day At A Time by the Eagles.  It’s awesome.

That is all.

NYC Watchdog gave me an award for honesty in the blogosphere for 2007. I posted about it over at the Soda Stand. It’s an awesome feeling and made me feel so much better than when I woke up.

I woke up feeling like I have golf balls stuck in my throat. Ugh. However, I feel much better now that I have my coffee (read: caffeine) to wake me up and clear my head.

It’s supposed to snow today, but it’s not snowing yet. They say the temp is going to drop throughout the day and then it will start snowing sometime this morning. I’m watching out the sliding glass door (I don’t have other windows here where I sit) and waiting so I can pull out my super fly camera and start snapping pictures.

I have some house cleaning to do, since I pretty much ignored all responsibility yesterday and did nothing but cruise the internet, watch TV, take a nap or two and drink coffee and hot chocolate all day.

I’ll be watching football later, cause the Packers are on TV this week. WHEEEEEE

Until next time…

Have you ever needed a plasma mount for your plasma TV? Yeah, I haven’t either, I was just asking.

It’s slushing outside. I mean, it’s quite wet outside and it’s freezing rain, so it’s all slushy. It reminds me of a 7-11 slurpee LOL Just white!

Army Guy called me today. He’s got a super deep, sexy voice. Yummmeh! Can you say making the knees weak? LOL Did I mention he’s a hawtie too?

Twitter (which is like crack for me) is down until 10pm tonight and that’s 10pm PST. Basically it’ll be gone until 1am for me. That such sucks big time. I’m going to have to find something to do other than twitter my day away while I watch the slushiness outside. OY!

Until next time…

I’ve been in a chick flick kind of mood lately. I’ve been watching as many chick flicks as I can and Dirty Dancing is one that I’ve watched on SEVERAL occasions. As a matter of fact, I’m watching the ending of it right now. LOL I just love it and think it’s a very good movie.

I’ve also been thinking about going on some Caribbean Cruises soon. I have a job interview scheduled for December 28th and I don’t know what the hiring process is like after that. I had a phone interview today and then that one will be in person. Most likely an oral board, with three people asking me questions. The lady said that after the in person interview, will be the drug screening and then the polygraph.

So at this point, I don’t know when I’d be able to go on a cruise, but it sure is nice to dream about it! I’ll just keep dreaming and draw from my memories of my other cruises I’ve been on. That will have to do.

There is a new episode of Moonlight on tonight. We get to find out what happened to Morgan (aka Coraline). I’m quite looking forward to that.

Until next time….
