I got my stuff! WHEEEE My apartment is full to the gills of furniture and boxes, but damnit, I got my stuff!!!
I’m sore from head to toe. I have bruises in places I question how I got them. My fingers are swollen and my wrists hurt. My head hurts, my back hurts and my hips still hurt. But I got to sleep in my own bed last night and that’s and AWESOME thing!
Once I wake up enough to work and get some breakfast in me, I’m going to start on the boxes in the 2nd room. I’ll be working on my bedroom first. They say to start with one room, make it your own and then go from there. That’s what I’ll be doing.
Hopefully my fingers and hands hold out. They are horrible swollen and sore and I know it’s from all the work I’ve already done around here.
Until next time…

Normally, you would think a recovering compulsive gambler would not want to blog about something like this. However, I’d like to share a story. Shortly before I stopped gambling and entered GA, I started playing online poker. At first I did it for fun, cause I couldn’t see putting my credit card numbers online and using that money for gambling.
And then the bells and whistles of websites like Pro360.com cause my attention. They had me hook, line and sinker. I think in a normal way, online casinos can be just as fun as the regular casino. You just don’t have to deal with the smoke, the noise or the other people around you.
Pro360 offers the player/gambler many things in the review department of online casinos. They offer advice on which are the best and they give some editors choices. Pro360 shows you the casinos with the best payouts and bonuses.
There is an Online Casino FAQ where any of your questions can be answered. It’s all there at their website. If you’re looking for some gambling fun, that is healthy and normal (unlike the way I used to do it) then I think you’ll really enjoy this review website. Check it out.

Here are a few shots of my new bathroom, along with a few shots of the hallway and the kitchen entry. I’m still working on it, but this is what I’ve gotten so far!

My shower curtain

The bottom of the shower curtain and the rug and toilet seat cover.

Hallway rug, with Chloe looking at me like I’m nuts!

Area rug between the kitchen and the dining room. It’s covering the cable from the wall to the place I have the computer set up.

I’m on the far right of the picture. Just some of us girls getting our grooves on at the High School Reunion of the class of 1987 from Las Vegas High School. You’ll notice I did NOT wear the dress I had picked out, it didn’t fit right when I went to get dressed so I had to run to Target and get something else to wear. I got those gray slacks, the black see-through blouse and a white cami under it for less than 40 bucks. I still wore the rocking Kenneth Cole shoes though.

Have you been looking for the perfect Personalized Wedding Gifts for a friend or family member who is getting married soon?
As I’ve sat here on my floor (yeah, my stuff is not here yet), I’ve been cruising the internet, of course. I found a great website called Vision Bedding. VB sells blankets, pillows, and bedding with your personalized photographs on it. Like this horse picture below. WOW! How awesome would that be for a gift? You can get them for your friends, your family or for yourself.

I love all of the colors in this photograph. The clouds in the background with the sun setting is just spectacular if you ask me.
They have items of all kinds for you to browse. What an awesome gift to give someone who just gets married, a photo blanket or pillow of the happy couple.
If you’re looking for unique, one of a kind gifts to give, this is the website you need to visit!

The girls sleeping in the backseat as we made our way to Louisville. They did so good on the trip, it was quite impressive.

We are in Tulsa now…sitting in a nasty ass motel room. It’s a Best Western, but it seems more like a Motel 6 or Super 8. UGH!
We had a very long day today, traveling about 12 hours total, with stops and what not. Tomorrow is a shorter day for traveling, so we can take our time getting to our next destination.
Here’s one of the pictures from yesterday’s leg of the trip, which was from Las Vegas to Albuquerque.

This is it, down to the last few hours I’m going to be in this town. Miss Monique and I are up and slowly getting ready. KP is going to help me pack the car up.
I made a difficult decision and he’s also going to help me empty the trunk and anything I don’t want to take with me today, he and LP will ship to me and I will pay them back. It was a difficult decision to do this, but I have to be able to have room for the four of us. Me, Miss Monique, Josie and Chloe. With the amount of stuff I have right now, the girls wouldn’t fit in the backseat at all.
KP and LP are going to help me with that, cause they are the bomb and I luff them for it.
Until next time….I probably won’t post here again until I get to Oklahoma or Missouri.

I pick up my family from the airport last night. At midnight. Um, to say I’m tired would be an understatement. We were up until about 2am and woke up this morning at around 7:30am. OY!
I’m tired and sleepy and exhausted. And I seriously don’t see a nap in my horizon anytime soon. Send me lots of coffee, vitamins and energy drinks. kthxbai
Here’s the dress I got for my high school reunion this weekend:
